Our coats of plate are inspired by one of the Wisby finds, as well as numerous illuminated manuscripts dating between the 1340s and mid-1360s. They buckle in the back and are constructed of 6 oz. chrome-tanned black, green, red, yellow, or burgundy bull hide leather, .050 T6-6061 aircraft aluminum plates, solid brass rivets, and our own solid brass buckles. Weight is approximately 10 lbs.
